Officer Commanding RAF Section Flt Lt T J Burton RAF VR(T) |
FLt Lt Burton has extensive experience in the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO), starting off his cadet carrier as a cadet at 1279 Sqn Air Training Corp, Civilian Instructor for four years at 1279 Sqn, and assisting Mr B Moore as Training Officer at Ratcliffe College. In addition Flt Lt Burton is also a Committee Member of the RAFA ( Royal Air Force's Association ) in Melton Mowbray, keeping ties close with not only the general public but also the Royal Air Force via the RAFLO ( Royal Air Force Liaison Officer ).Also he carries out public duties such as Parade Marshal for the Battle of Britain Parade in Melton Mowbray. As Section Commander he is responsible for keeping the section running such as planning the training program, section visits, camps, uniform allocation, RAF HQ maintenance, leadership training, equipment and recruiting , Flt Lt Burton is also responsible for much of the recruit training. |

Officer Training Ms T Spencer |
Ms
Spencer has recently joined Ratcliffe College as part of the
teaching staff, she has decided to assist the RAF Section not
only with direct training but also to become part of the RAF Volunteer
Reserve Training Branch Training Officer (RAF VR(T)).
Ms Spencer will be assisting Flt Lt T J Burton in the training program, visits, camps, competitions and the day to day running of the RAF Section |

TEST SNCO SGT G Ansell |
Sgt
G Ansell has been employed directly by the Royal Air Force for
over 22 years, he is responsible for liaising with many schools /
colleges within the Eastern Area of the ACO ( Air Cadet
Organisation.
His duties include assisting RAF Sections with overall training, uniforms, stores requirements, modifications to training, familiarization of new regulations and general liaison for the RAF OC. |

Civilian Instructor Mr J Jinks |
Mr
Jinks has many years experience with the cadet force, he was the
Commanding Officer of 51 Sqn Air Training Corp Evington Sqn and
Training Officer for the ARMY Cadet force in Melton Mowbray.
As an ex pilot on various aircraft, he is an important asset not only for his experience working within the cadet force, but his experience and knowledge in aviation in general |

Mr
Moore also has many years experience with the Air Cadets. Until
a few years ago Mr Moore was the RAF Section Officer Commanding
at Ratcliffe College. Before coming back from retirement to run
the RAF Section, Mr Moore was AWO ( Adult Warrant Officer ) at
1279 Sqn Air Training Corp Melton Mowbray.
Having many years experience within the Air Cadets, Mr Moore brings a vast amount of experience and knowledge to the RAF Section. |

Fr
Furong also has experience working with Air Cadets, he has been
a training officer of the Air Training Corp before moving to
Ratcliffe to carry on with his duties.
Having a personal interest in aviation in general, Fr Fulong brings experience and knowledge to the RAF Section. |

Major
Balmbra has many years experience within the Combined Cadet
Force, as Contingent Commander he is responsible for all aspects
of the Contingents day to day running, activities and training.
His specialties are adventures training, leadership training, weapons handling, running ranges, BTEC, stores etc |

Schlotfeld has also many years experience within the Combined
Cadet Force, as ARMY Section Officer Commanding, she is responsible
